MONTHLY DRESSAGE CLINICS with HOLGER BECHTLOFF - Starting May 1-3 , 2009

NEXT DATE JULY 10, 11, 12, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, then August 8, 9 10 which is Saturday, Sunday and Monday. From September through December, we will be the first weekend of each month.

We welcome Holger Bechtloff, USDF Gold Medalist; Certified Trainer and Instructor German Bereiter FN; German Federation Bronze and Silver Medalist; Team Bronze winner at North American Freestyle Challenge in Gladstone; and "L" Graduate in USDF Judges' Program. Born in Germany, now living in Wellington, Florida, Holger Bechtloff has worked with many other masters, clinicians, and coaches, and has competed on many top-level Grand Prix horses. He dedicates himself to perfecting his teaching skills and assisting his students in setting and meeting their goals. Holger belleves in encouraging each horse's natural abilities and in developing an individual training program for each horse and rider.
Holger is a kind and talented teacher who has much to offer students of all levels. After one of his clinics, one rider wrote us to say: "can't tell you how happy I am to have been in clinic with Holger...I found that Holger has that great ability to provide constructive criticism in such a respectful way that you just can't help but embrace him from the moment he says his first words."

Private lessons $150; $20 to audit. Horse leases ($25 for non Frog Hollow Farm clients) and semi-private lessons ($75 per person) can be arranged. Three rides paid two weeks in advance is $125 per ride; one ride paid two weeks in advance is $135. Advance payments non-refundable unless we cancel or we can fill your spot.

DIRECTIONS TO FROG HOLLOW FARM

From NYC: Thruway (Rte. 87) north to Exit 18 (New Paltz). Right on Rte. 299 to end at Rte. 9W. Left on 9W about 5 miles to Old Post Road (Esopus Fire House on left). Left onto Old Post Road (County Route 16). Bear right at top of hill. Farm is ca. 1.5 miles from 9W on the right.

From Albany: Thruway (Rte. 87) south to Exit 19 (Kingston). Go around the traffic circle, taking Route 587 toward Kingston (last turn-off before toll booths). At end of route 587, go south on Rte. 32 (Broadway). Go south on Rte. 9W through Port Ewen and Ulster Park. Make a right turn onto Old Post Road (County Route 16).  Bear right at top of hill. Farm is ca. 1.5 miles from 9W on the right.

From CT: Rte. 84 West to Newburgh exit. Go north on Rte. 9W to Old Post Road in Esopus (Esopus Fire House on left). Left onto Old Post Road (County Route 16). Bear right at top of hill. Farm is ca. 1.5 miles from 9W on the right.

Main barn is 1/4 mile up the farm driveway. Go slow and watch for horses!
