Welcome to Frog Hollow Farm!

Our 135 acres are nestled in the hills overlooking the Hudson River between Kingston and New Paltz, New York. Riding and caring for horses in this special place connects us to the natural world in a life increasingly dominated by technology.

At Frog Hollow, we believe that learning to ride and learning to care for horses stretches our minds, our bodies and our spirits. Riding develops life-long skills such as the ability to organize, to think critically, to set goals and to carry them out. And, by partnering with another living being, we learn empathy. Our training focuses on Dressage which is the foundation for all riding. We teach dressage to improve jumping and even trail riding. We also prepare horses for competition in dressage.

NOW ENROLLING STUDENTS IN SADDLE CLUB! This wonderful after school program gives children an affordable opportunity to be around horses and learn to ride.

Lucky Braids Top Turn out Clinic with Ruthann
Ruthann Smith, founder of Lucky Braids and the many wonderful grooming products that I love, will do a clinic at our farm. Day one will be a demonstration format including such topics as pulling the mane of a sensitive horse, cleaning tack so it will last forever, cleaning under the tail, teats and sheath, bandaging, trimming etc. A full day from an extraordinarily knowledgeable horse woman and then a second day of hands on braiding. Only 8 people can do the second day and they must watch and practice Ruthanne's braiding video at least twice. Register now. Day one is $75. Day two will be $100.

Beckham is settled in his new home and competed in his first CDI this past weekend. He got a 67% at PSG with his new trainer. We are so proud of him and happy for Gloria.
