Welcome to Frog Hollow Farm!

Our 135 acres are nestled in the hills overlooking the Hudson River between Kingston and New Paltz, New York. Riding and caring for horses in this special place connects us to the natural world in a life increasingly dominated by technology.

At Frog Hollow, we believe that learning to ride and learning to care for horses stretches our minds, our bodies and our spirits. Riding develops life-long skills such as the ability to organize, to think critically, to set goals and to carry them out. And, by partnering with another living being, we learn empathy. Our training focuses on Dressage which is the foundation for all riding. We teach dressage to improve jumping and even trail riding. We also prepare horses for competition in dressage.

Nancy competing at Prix St. Georges
Nancy now is competing at Prix St. Georges with both her horses, so she has much to share with both beginning and advanced riders. She also is flush with new insights on the horse-human connection from our 3-day intensive with the incomparable Peggy Cummings. Nancy is proud to announce that she has earned her USDF silver medal for scores at Fourth level and Prix St. George on her horse Beckham whom she started at Training level. Onward and upward.
