Nancy
now is competing at Prix St. Georges with both her horses, so she has much to share with both beginning and advanced riders.
She also is flush with new insights on the horse-human connection from our 3-day intensive with the incomparable Peggy Cummings.
Nancy is proud to announce that she has earned her USDF silver medal for scores at Fourth level and Prix St. George on her
horse Beckham whom she started at Training level. Onward and upward. USDF Gold Medalist Holger Bechtloff is back
with his popular monthly dressage clinics. For clinic dates and info, go to our Calendar page. We also are welcoming
Nancy King, MS, OTR/L, and her A Horse Connection to our barn. Nancy is a NARHA Registered Therapist and American Hippotherapy
Association and Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association (EFMHA) member. She and her corps of professionals and trained
volunteers will be providing a variety of equine-assisted therapy programs. For more about Nancy and A Horse Connection, please
go to her website www.ahorseconnection.com. Coming this summer, there will be riding weeks for kids each week
during July and August, starting Monday, July 27th, with half-day sessions available at a reduced cost. We also plan one fabulous,
dream week of horse day camp for adults, date to be arranged. For more information about riding weeks for kids and/or for
a registration form, go to our "riding weeks for kids" page

Welcome
to Frog Hollow Farm, 135 acres nestled in the hills overlooking the Hudson River between Kingston and New Paltz, New York.
Riding and caring for horses in this special place connects us to the natural world in a life increasingly dominated by technology.
At
Frog Hollow, we believe that learning to ride and learning to care for horses stretches our minds, our bodies and our spirits.
Riding develops life-long skills such as the ability to organize, to think critically, to set goals and to carry them out.
And, by partnering with another living being, we learn empathy.
Founded in 1976, Frog Hollow Farm emphasizes dressage
both as a discipline in itself and as an excellent cross-training activity for rider and horse. We also prepare students for
the hunter and jumper ring and for eventing - an Olympic sport ridden over 3 days that includes dressage, cross-country jumping
and stadium jumping.
We welcome adult and child beginners, as well as experienced riders who want to hone their skills.
Although many of our students choose to compete, our emphasis is on creating a harmonious relationship between rider and horse
and on teaching our riders to be all-around competent horse people.
We maintain a variety of school horses from a 4th
level dressage schoolmaster to unflappable ponies and horses who are kind and generous to children and adult beginners.
Our
facilities include eight miles of groomed, wooded trails, a solar heated indoor ring with mirrors, a round pen and a gorgeous
outdoor ring where shows can be held. Our two barns are clean, airy and light and are maintained to the highest standards.
Boarders
can expect impeccable horse care. A staff person lives in the barn apartment and does nightly checks. Every horse is groomed
on a daily basis. Blankets are kept clean and repaired. We have fields and paddocks for turnout, and horses can stay out for
the entire day.
