Welcome to Frog Hollow Farm!

Our 135 acres are nestled in the hills overlooking the Hudson River between Kingston and New Paltz, New York. Riding and caring for horses in this special place connects us to the natural world in a life increasingly dominated by technology.

At Frog Hollow, we believe that learning to ride and learning to care for horses stretches our minds, our bodies and our spirits. Riding develops life-long skills such as the ability to organize, to think critically, to set goals and to carry them out. And, by partnering with another living being, we learn empathy. Our training focuses on Dressage which is the foundation for all riding. We teach dressage to improve jumping and even trail riding. We also prepare horses for competition in dressage.

Camelia in Wellington Florida
Camelia is working for top dressage competitor Jennifer Baumert again this winter. She has taken Essex our 23 year old school master with her. They competed her first time at 4th level in February and received a 63.9% and her first score of the 4 necessary to get her silver medal. We cannot wait for her to return with all that she has learned.
